ON-PAGE SEO

When you write a post keeping in mind Focus Keyword, SEO Title, Meta Description, Title Tag, Permalink, ALT Tags, Site Loading Speed, Internal Linking, External Linking etc. for ranking high in Search Engine of Blog Post, then this Technique Comes under On Page SEO

Off-page SEO

For the ranking of your blog or blog post, all the SEO techniques such as link building, promotion etc. are adopted outside the blog, they come under Off Page SEO.

Why is SEO important?

It cannot be denied that if you are working hard on a blog or website, then you also need some returns in return. And SEO is very important for good returns.

SEO helps to drive Organic Traffic on your blog. The more organic traffic that comes to your blog, the more will be your earning from the blog.

However, you can also drive some traffic on the blog from social media such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora etc. But it is not for very limited and long term.

Apart from this, you can also bring traffic through Paid Promotion, which means that you can also bring traffic through Paid Advertisement, but for this a lot of money is needed.

For Long Term, Success and Continuous Earning on Blog, Organic Traffic from Search Engine is very important. Which is possible only with a Strong SEO Technique. By doing SEO optimization to your blog or blog post well, you can get a lot of organic traffic for free.

Black hat SEO vs White hat SEO

Although On Page SEO and Off Page SEO are the two main parts, but apart from this, there are some factors that divide it into two more parts, about which it is very important to have knowledge. So that later you do not make any mistake knowingly or unknowingly.

Black Hat SEO

Search Engine Guidelines are not followed in this type of SEO. To rank any website fast, whatever SEO techniques are used in it are against the policy of all search engines. Targeting only Search Engines is the top priority for Black Hat SEO. This SEO is not at all true for Long Term and Serious Blogging.

White Hat SEO

This is a natural technique of SEO, in which all the valid guidelines of search engines are followed while doing SEO. Search Engine (Google) loves White Hat SEO Techniques. Users are mainly targeted in this type of SEO. Be it Short Term or Long Term, both are a good and valid SEO Technique.

How does Google Search Engine work?

From the time the content of any website or blog is published till it is ranked in the search engine, Google mainly works in three steps which are as follows:

Crawling

This is the first step in which Google’s Crawlers find out which web pages are available on the Internet? For this also Google uses different methods.

When Google’s Crawlers visit your site, they find out all the valid web pages. If a post is already present on Google and you interlink any new post in it, even then its signal goes to Google. Apart from this, when you manually submit Sitemap of your site to Google Webmaster, you also inform Google about New Pages.

Indexing

After knowing about any web page available on the internet, now Google tries to understand what those web pages are about? This process of Google is called Indexing. The text, image, video etc given inside that web page are indexed.

Serving

The work that is done in the third step is to reach your web pages to the user. When someone does some search on google, out of all the web pages indexed in their library, which have all the appropriate information related to that topic, they show in the search results. In this way, Organic Traffic Transfer is done by Google on your site.

Is Your Website indexed in Google or not?

It is very easy to find out whether your website is indexed in Google’s search engine. For this, search Google by typing site: yourdomain.com.

After doing this search, if the URL of your website is indexed, then it will be visible to you. Apart from this, you can also see all the web pages of your site that have been indexed by Google.

If you want, you can also check the indexing of your website in Google through Google Search Console. For this, after logging into Search Console, click on Coverage >> Valid.

Submit your website to Google Search Console

If we talk about Google Search Engine, then Google Search Console is also an important factor of SEO for Website Owners. You must submit your site by creating an account in it.

If you have already created an account then click on Add Property on the left side.

After this, two types of options come in front of you to add your website. Domain and URL Prefix.

Type your site’s domain URL in the URL prefix option and click on Continue.

After clicking on Continue, you get 5 different options for Verify Ownership, out of which you will have to verify the Ownership of your site by any one method.

The two easiest ways out of these are HTML File and HTML Tag.

To verify through HTML file, click on it and then download that HTML file to your computer. After downloading the HTML file, now go to the cPanel of your web hosting and upload the downloaded HTML file to the Root Folder in whichever Root Folder you have all the files stored on this site.

After uploading, go back to the Search Console tab again and click on Verify.

And if you want to verify through HTML tag, then after clicking on it, an HTML tag comes in front of you, which after copying you will have to paste it in the header section of your site.

Now paste that copied code in front of Google Verification Code. And then after going back to the GSC tab, click on Verify. If you have pasted the correct HTML tag, then on clicking Verify you will see an Ownership verified pop up which means that your site has been successfully verified by Google Search Console.

Submit a sitemap of your website to Google Search Console.

Sitemap is a total collection of URLs of your entire website which contains the URLs of all the web pages of your site. Sitemaps help Google’s crawlers to understand your site better.

Although it is also true that there is no benefit in the ranking of your website through Sitemap. It only helps in fast indexing your site in search engines and better crawling.

If you use Yoast SEO or Rank Math SEO plugin of WordPress, then you can generate XML Sitemap of your site very easily.

How to Create a Sitemap with Yoast SEO?

To generate XML Sitemap in Yoast SEO, go to Yoast SEO >> General >> Features and from here turn on the option “XML Sitemaps”.

After turning on, click on “See the XML Sitemap” written in blue color to see the sitemap of your website.

This will take you to the page with the XML Sitemap generated from Yoast SEO. As you can see in the above image.

How to Create a Sitemap with Rank Math SEO?

To generate Sitemap from Rank Math SEO, click on Rank Math >> General >> Features. And then turn on the Sitemap option for both Posts and Pages.

Now here click on the link with Sitemap URL given above, it will take you to the page with XML Sitemap of your website.

Copy the entire URL after the .com or .in given in the address bar, which is something like this:

https://mydomain.com/sitemap_index.xml

This is the sitemap of your site. Now you have got the XML Sitemap which you have to submit to Google Search Console. Let me tell you how?

First login to your Google Search Console account? And then click on Sitemaps in the left side.

After this, copy the last address after the domain name from the XML Sitemap page of your website and paste it here as you can see in the image above. And then click on Submit.

What is Keyword Research ?

Keyword research is also a very important part of SEO. In a way, this is only the 1st step of SEO. Because unless you have any topic to write for your website or any blog post, then what content will you put on your site? And this is possible only with Keyword Research.

If Keyword Research is defined in very simple words, then whatever research is done on the internet by bloggers before writing any content for the website is called Keyword Research.

While doing keyword research, the following things are mainly taken care of by bloggers such as

  • What are people searching more on the Internet at this time?
  • What is Keyword Research and how to do it?
  • What is the competition for that topic?

There are mainly two types of keywords.

Short Tail Keyword:

These are those keywords which are made up of only 1 or 2 words such as SEO Tutorial, Keyword Research etc. Monthly searches of such keywords are very high on the internet, due to which their competition is very high and it is very difficult to rank on the 1st page of search engine on such short tail keywords.

Long Tail Keywords:

In this type of keywords, there can be a group of more than 3-4 or more words such as SEO Tutorial, Best WordPress Tutorial for Beginners etc. Competition is much less on Long Tail Keywords as compared to Short Tail Keywords, due to which it is a bit easier to rank on them. So if you have a new site then you should focus on maximum Long Tail Keywords.

What are the benefits of Keyword Research?

There are many benefits of doing Keyword Research in Blogging such as

  • Keyword research plays an important role in making your blog popular very soon.
  • The ranking of your website improves, due to which traffic increases and earning is also boosted.
  • Doing Keyword Research helps in writing High Quality Content for Blog.
  • The Search Volume and Competition of any keyword is known.
  • By doing good research, you can connect with Targeted Visitors on your blog.

How to Choose Best Keyword in Keyword Planner?

If I really talk about choosing a best keyword, then there is no such SEO tool that can give you the best keywords on its own. To choose any best keyword, you have to take special care of some things yourself.

Although it is a bit difficult task, but I am going to give you some important tips for how you can find the best keywords for yourself using Google Keyword Planner.

First of all go to Discover New Keywords as I mentioned above and type whatever you want to get the data for the targeted keyword.

For example, suppose your Targeted Keyword is “How to Start a Blog“. After typing this, click on Get Started.

Now many keywords related to that keyword come in front of you. Now out of so many keywords, how will you know which are the best keywords? To find out, you have to keep in mind some special things which I am mentioning below.

1. Always Target Low Competition Keywords?

Low Competition Keywords are helpful in getting your site ranked quickly in Search Engine. So if you have a new site whose Domain Authority is also less, then you should always target such keywords.

2. Focus on Higher Search Volume Keywords.

Finding Keyword with both these conditions Low Competition Keywords and High Search Volume is definitely a difficult task but try that you can search some such keywords. The keywords for which there are more searches, there will be more traffic drive on your website.

3. Use Long Tail Keywords.

These types of keywords are ranked very quickly in search engines. As I mentioned above, keywords with 4 or 5 or more words are called Long Tail Keywords.

If you optimize your every blog post with this type of keywords, then very soon you will get good results because the competition in such keywords is very low.

Once your site ranks well on Long Tail Keywords, then it helps you to rank on Short Tail Keywords as well.

Find High Ranking Keywords of Competitor Website.

With the help of Google Keyword Planner, you can also find out about the High Ranking Keywords of your competitor’s site. For this, after clicking on START WITH WEBSITE, type the URL of your competitor’s site.

Now the list of almost all the High Ranking Keywords of that website will appear in front of you. Out of which you can choose good keywords for your next blog posts.

Improve On Page SEO of your Blog Post.

What is On Page SEO? I have told about this in the beginning in this post, but if you did not pay a little attention at that time, then let me tell a little once again.

Keeping in mind the Search Engine Ranking factors while writing your blog or blog post, whatever SEO techniques are applied in the post, they all come under On Page SEO.

Below, I am going to tell about some similar SEO techniques for On-Page SEO, which you should take special care of while writing a blog post.

Write Quality Content.

If you have spent even a little time in blogging, then you must have heard that content is king. Meaning that everything else comes later, first of all your content is everything.

If your content itself does not have that quality, then there is no use of applying other SEO techniques. Give such content to the visitors coming to your blog so that they can get some information. The post should be such that if someone is reading a post about someone, then he does not have to go to any other blog for that information.

Write Eye Catchy Post Title.

The title of any blog post was the first to appear in Google Search Results. If you have written an Eye Catchy and Unique Post Title, then there are more chances of getting Clicks on it.

Write both Post Title and SEO Post Title in different ways so that your blog post can be optimized better. If you are a WordPress user, then for this you can use Yoast SEO or Rank Math SEO any one WordPress Plugin.

To write an Eye Catchy Blog Post Title, the following things should be kept in mind.

1. Keep the main focus keyword of the post in both Post Title and SEO Post Title.
2. Try to write the title a little short. On writing a longer title, it does not appear complete in search results, which looks a bit spammy. Title should be maximum 65 words and not more than that.
3. Add numbers and some catchy words to the title if needed

Write the title related to your blog post, do not do Keyword Stuffing at all.

Try to write detailed blog post.

While writing a blog post, try that it should be a detailed blog post. Meaning that about whichever topic you are giving information about, there should be A to Z information in detail.

According to big SEO experts, larger blog posts rank faster and perform better in search engines than smaller blog posts. Try to have at least 1000 or more words in the post. But don’t write any nonsense just to make the post longer. With this, visitors will not read your post and will go back, which will increase the bounce rate of your site.

Keep the post’s permalink (URL) SEO friendly and short.

Permalink of any blog post is also a very important Ranking Factor. Post Permalink should always be SEO Friendly. As if

  • Try to keep the post URL short.
  • Also give place to your main Targeted Keywords in Permalink.
  • Do not use stop words like to, in, the etc. in permalink.
  • Years such as 2024, 2024 should never be used in the URL.

Keep the Focus Keyword at the beginning and at the end.

Try that whenever you write a blog post, keep your main focus keyword within the first 2 paragraphs of the post. Apart from this, try to keep the Targeted Keyword in the last paragraph of the post as well. This makes it easy for Google to understand your post.

Blog post should be very easy to read.

One thing you should always remember is that you write blog posts for the user and not for Google. Google loves only those sites that people like. So write content in such a way that people read more and more.

While optimizing Blog Post according to Search Engine, also keep in mind the User Experience. So that the user does not have any problem in reading your blog post. For this you can keep the following things in mind.

  • Keep such a font size inside your blog post which is easy to read that means the user does not have to zoom the page to read it. For this, I would recommend you to keep the font size of at least 17px or up to 18px.
  • While SEO Optimizing Blog Post, take special care of Headings also. Headings make your post easy for both search engines and users to read and understand.
  • Do not write very long paragraphs at all. Maximum 3 or 4 lines should be kept in a paragraph. If we talk about words, then try to limit one paragraph to 100 words.
  • Use images to easily explain the matter to the user and to make the post interesting. A good image is worth about 1000 words. Apart from the image, if you use video then it is a very good thing.
  • Make a habit of keeping some of the key points mentioned in the post in bold or italic.

Keep in mind Keyword Density.

The direct meaning of Keyword Density is related to the Focus Keyword being used in the post. Never repeat your Focus Keyword more than once in the post than the limit. Focus Keyword should be at least 1.5% to 2% Keyword Density.

If you repeat the same Targeted Keyword more often than this, then your site moves towards Negative SEO. It is also called Keyword Stuffing. Apart from the main keyword, you can use keywords related to it, there is no problem in that.

As for this post, apart from Best SEO Tutorial, I can also use Best SEO Tips and Full SEO Guide for Beginners.

Internal linking is also very important.

Internal linking is a very important SEO Factor in Blog Posts for On Page SEO. Linking from one post of your blog to other posts is called internal linking. Some of the main benefits of internal linking are as follows.

Through interlinking, your blog posts become more useful and SEO friendly for visitors.
It is very helpful in reducing the bounce rate of your blog.
At the time of crawling, it is very easy for Google bots to crawl the content of the website, due to which your site is fast indexed in the search engine.
Apart from one post, users also read other linked posts, which increase page views.

Do Image Optimization well.

Images also contribute a lot in making a blog SEO friendly. If you site’s loading speed is slow, then somewhere the images may be the reason for this. Therefore it is important that the images should be compressed well before uploading them on the site.

If you use Photoshop, then with the help of Files >> Save for Web, you can compress your images well. Apart from this, you can also reduce the size of your images significantly with the help of a website named TinyPNG. And yes, before uploading, keep the name of the images the same to which they are related. Don’t have 1, 2, 3 or image-1, image-2 like this at all.

When you upload images to your site, then at that time you must put Alt tag in the images because Search Engine (Google-bots) cannot read the images at the time of Crawling, they find images only with the help of Alt Tags in them. Huh. If you do not use Alt Tag, then your images will not show in the search results, due to which you may lose a lot of traffic because images also help in sending some traffic to your site.

Improve Page Loading Speed.

Slow loading speed of any site is also a negative point for its SEO. According to Google, the speed of the site is also an important ranking factor. If your site takes more time to load then it is not a good sign for future ranking of the site. Some of its negative points are as follows:

  • Visitors will go back immediately because of your site not loading quickly. Due to which the page views of the site will be less.
  • Earning from your blog will also be less due to less page views.
  • Your blog will never rank well in search engines.
  • The Bounce Rate of the blog will continue to increase.
  • User experience on blog is bad.

By following some important steps, you can improve the slow loading speed of your blog.

  • Use the latest version of PHP.
  • The image should be compressed well before uploading.
  • Do not use more WordPress plugins, install only those which are necessary.
  • There are many files and images which are of no use later. Delete all such Unwanted Media Files.
  • Use good web hosting.
  • Minify CSS and JavaScript files.
  • Use any of the good Cache Plugin.

Create a Robots.txt file for the website.

This may be a little technical for you. Because this step covers Technical SEO.

Robots.txt is a small text file located in the cPanel of the web hosting of your website. The main function of Robots.txt file in your site is to instruct the search engine bots which file of the site they have to crawl and which one at the time of crawling.

If you put it in simple words, then the content of the site which you do not want to be indexed in the search engine, they are hidden from the eyes of the crawler through the Robots.txt file. And the rest of the content is left visible for crawling.

To create, edit or optimize the Robots.txt file, you need to have a little technical knowledge, otherwise a little inattention can also hide your site from the search engine.

Link Building SEO Tutorial

Link building is a very important SEO factor in the higher ranking of any website. It helps your site to get top position in SERP (Search Engine Result Page). If your site is linked to any high authority website, then it is a positive point for SEO of your site, which increases the authority of your website in the eyes of search engines and increases your chances of getting top rank in search results. .

In this way the linking of your site to another site is called a Backlink to your site. Having more backlinks for the site helps in boosting its ranking somewhere. Some important information related to link building that you need to know.

As I just told, when any other website gives a link to your site, then it counts like a backlink for your site in the eyes of the search engines. Backlinks thus obtained can be of two types:

  • Do-Follow Backlinks
  • No-Follow Backlinks

What are Do-Follow Backlinks?

Dofollow Links or Backlinks are links that help boost the ranking of your website. Do-follow backlinks do link juice paas. Which helps Search Engine bots to follow your site.

These links are Dofollow by default which means that there are no Attributes in this type of Links. It is similar to a simple link. Linked to another site, such links of your site are taken seriously by the search engines. For this reason, ranking improves in SERP (Search Engine Result Page).

The HTML version of a Dofollow link looks like this:

<a href=”https://aitechtonic.com/”>aItechtonic</a>

What are No-Follow Backlinks?

No-Follow links are the exact opposite of Do-Follow Links. This does not make much difference in the ranking of your website. There is no Link Juice Paas of any kind through these types of links. That is why they are not followed by Search Engine Bots.

Such links have a special No-Follow HTML attribute. Which prevents Google Bots from following all such links. A No-Follow Link looks like this:

<a href=”https://aitechtonic.com” rel=”nofollow”>aItechtonic</a>

How to Create High Quality Backlink?

If you want to rank your blog quickly, then creating High Quality Backlink is the best way for this. But getting a Do-Follow Backlink from a good site is not an easy task at all.

But if you take care of some things and use the right methods while blogging, then you can soon be successful in getting High Quality Backlinks. Below I am going to share some such important points which will help you in getting HQB.

1. Always focus on Quality Content.

If the content of your blog has power, then everything else becomes easy. Because giving quality content to its users should be the main priority of every blog. If you are publishing such content on your blog which is giving value to the user, then people link your content on their own site, such chances increase a lot. By which you will get High Quality Backlinks yourself.

2. Guest posting is also a surefire solution.

One of the best ways is to generate High Quality Backlinks through Guest Post. There are many such blogs on the Internet that accept Guest Post. For such blogs, you can get backlink for your blog by writing a good post each.

3. Create Account on Social Networking Sites.

Social backlinks are also very important. So create an account on all the popular social media sites and then add your blog URL to them.

4. Target the backlinks of the competitors.

Whichever competitor you have related to your Blog Niche, keep an eye on the backlinks of their site in a spy way. Find out where and in what way they have created backlinks? You too try to make backlinks from there.

You can use Online SEO Platforms like UberSuggest, SEMRush, to find out the backlinks of the competitors.

5. Make Comments on Blogs.

However, it is the oldest and easiest way to get backlinks. But from this, not Do-Follow but No-Follow Backlinks can be created which are not as effective in SEO. But do some work. If you are a completely new blogger then you can adopt this method, although I do not recommend it.

Start Blog Promotion

Many people think that promotion is not a part of SEO, but I believe that promotion is in a way the most important and last step of SEO. Because SEO work is not complete just by publishing the content on your blog by doing On Page SEO.

Without promotion all your hard work is going to go in vain. In the beginning, you will have to reach your content to the people, only then it will gradually start ranking. And once you are ranked well, when Organic Traffic starts coming, then there is no problem, you have done your SEO work completely and well.

Below I am going to tell some of the best and Genuine Methods of Blog Post Promotion that every new blogger should use to promote their content.

1. Use social media well for promotion.

Social media is today’s most perfect recipe for promoting any online content. Because in the age of internet and smartphone, almost every person is connected in some social way.

Therefore, create an official account on all the popular social networking sites in the name of your blog. And after publishing the content on the blog, share that content on them too.

2. Quora must be used.

If you are blogging a little earlier, then you must have heard the name of the very popular question and answer website Quora. This is also a great site to bring Targeted Audience to your blog.

In this, you search for good questions related to your Blogging Niche and then answer them well in details. In the answer, you must give a link to your blog or blog post.

But remember it is not necessary to put a link in your every answer, it would be better if you give some answer even without a link. Because first build a little authority on Quora. Handle it by becoming a Professional Blogger. Otherwise Quora can block you too.

3. Use Email Marketing.

If you are absolutely serious about blogging, then start collecting e-mails from the very beginning. Set up a newsletter to collect the email of visitors to your blog.

You can send more than a thousand emails to your blog Subscribers at a time. Also add Push Notification to the blog so that if any visitor wants, they can subscribe for Push Notification as well. With this, whenever you publish a new post, its notification should also go to them and they can read that post.

4. Create an account on Medium.

You can also get a lot of traffic on your blog through Medium. This is a popular Blog Submission Directory. On this, you can write your blog post like this and link other posts in between. Apart from this, you can give a link to that entire post by writing Read More so that the user comes to your blog to read the entire post.
