Nextech3D.ai Unveils AI Floor Plan for 2027 Conference

Nextech3D.ai has generated its first customer floor plan using artificial intelligence through its Map D platform, marking a new step in the company’s efforts to automate event planning. The floor plan was created for the Florida Home Builders Association’s Southeast Building Conference 2027.

The company, which trades under (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF, FRA:1SS), said the live floor plan already supports interactive booth registration and provides information about exhibitors.

The Southeast Building Conference is scheduled to take place in July 2027 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Map D Adds AI-Powered Floor Plan Automation

The announcement follows Nextech3D.ai’s recent introduction of agentic AI capabilities in Map D. According to the company, the technology is designed to automate many of the manual tasks traditionally handled by production teams when creating and managing event floor plans.

The platform combines AI-driven assistance with human oversight, allowing event organizers to review and approve proposed changes before they are published.

Its new capabilities include booth pricing recommendations, conversational floor plan creation and booth management. Organizers also retain control over execution, with the ability to approve or reverse proposed changes.

“Our first AI-generated customer floor plan is a real-world example of how we are beginning to apply these capabilities for customers,” Nextech CEO Evan Gappelberg said.

Potential Expansion Across Nextech3D.ai’s Platforms

Nextech3D.ai sees opportunities to apply similar AI capabilities across its broader technology portfolio, including Eventdex, Map D, KraftyLab and KATE.

The company has not detailed a rollout schedule for these platforms in the announcement, but said the approach could extend the use of AI-driven automation across its event technology offerings.

Southeast Building Conference 2027

The floor plan was developed for the Florida Home Builders Association, which was established in 1947. The organization serves as the parent body for 23 local and regional homebuilder associations across Florida.

The AI-generated floor plan is an early customer application of Map D’s new agentic AI features, combining automated planning tools with organizer approval and control.
