Kelly Osbourne Issues Warning After Sid Wilson’s Bonfire Accident

USA News: Kelly Osbourne has spoken out following a serious accident involving her boyfriend, Sid Wilson, of Slipknot. Wilson suffered significant burns to his face and arms due to a bonfire mishap, prompting Osbourne to use her social media platform to issue a safety warning and update concerned fans.

In a series of Instagram stories, Osbourne described the incident, emphasizing the dangers associated with handling burn piles. “This is why you don’t mess with burn piles. He literally set himself on fire and exploded,” she recounted, urging others to be cautious with such fires. Despite the severity of the burns, she shared some positive news about Wilson’s condition. “Good morning, everyone. I just want to thank you all for the well-wishes and prayers for Sid. He’s doing so much better now. We’re on our way to pick him up from the hospital, and while he’s still in a lot of pain, he’s improving significantly. We love you all, and we appreciate your support.”

Wilson, 47, has been keeping his followers updated on his recovery journey as well. In a hospital video clip, he detailed the extent of his injuries. “Hey everyone, I had an explosion in my face. I’m okay, but I have serious burns on my face and arms. My eyebrows are singed, my mouth is blistered, and my arms are pretty badly burned.” Later, as he was transferred to a facility better equipped to handle burn injuries, he provided additional insight into the accident. “The bonfire was out from the previous night, but some embers were still smoldering. I got a bit too close and ended up getting burned. It’s not from a show—just an accident while working on the farm.”

Wilson’s fans have been supportive throughout his ordeal, sending messages of encouragement and well-wishes. Both Wilson and Osbourne have expressed their gratitude for the support and are hopeful for his continued recovery. This incident highlights the importance of safety when dealing with fire and serves as a cautionary tale to others working with burn piles or embers.
