1. Change WordPress Password from Dashboard
To reset WordPress password, first you have to log in to your WordPress site.
After that click on User >> Your Profile option. Here you will see all the information related to your account such as your name, username, email, and your profile picture.
Now, scroll down to the “Account Management” section. To change the password, here you will see the New Password option.
You have to click on the option of “Generate Password”. After this you will have to enter your new WordPress password. As you can see in the screenshot
After entering your new WordPress password, click on the “Update Profile” button.
2. Reset WordPress Password Through Login Screen
First go to your WordPress login page and click on Lost your password? Click on link.
Next, enter the username or email associated with your account and click on the Get New Password button.
It will send you an email to reset the password and inform that “Someone has requested a password reset for the following account”.
Just click on the link, a new page will open. Here, you enter your new password and hit on the Reset Password button.
