Haliey Welch, the Viral Star Known as “Hawk Tuah Girl,” to Launch New Podcast ‘Talk Tuah’ with Jake Paul’s Betr Media
Haliey Welch, widely recognized for her viral “Hawk Tuah Girl” persona, is stepping into the spotlight with a new podcast titled Talk Tuah. The podcast, launching on September 10, is a collaboration with Betr Media, the sports and mobile betting company co-founded by Jake Paul and Joey Levy.
Welch’s new weekly podcast will blend her comedic flair and Southern charm with a mix of interviews, lively discussions, and humorous segments. The premiere episode will feature comedian Whitney Cummings, with upcoming guests including social media stars Josh Richards and Jake Paul himself.
Betr Media’s head of media, Mike Denevi, praised Welch’s addition to their lineup, highlighting her charisma and unique appeal. “Haliey Welch is a bona fide superstar,” Denevi said. “Her genuine connection with her audience and her dynamic personality make her the perfect fit for our platform. Talk Tuah will bring a fresh voice to our content lineup and offer authentic interactions for both our audience and brand sponsors.”
Welch is excited about her new venture, stating, “Y’all kept asking, ‘What’s next?’ Well, this is it! I’m thrilled to have my own podcast where you’ll get to know the real me. I’m grateful to join Betr and introduce Talk Tuah every Tuesday. Expect great guests, laughs, pet chitchats, relationship tips, sports, and of course, plenty of Southern charm.”
The podcast’s trailer features Welch recording episodes and enjoying adventurous moments on a jet ski, with Welch declaring, “Y’all really thought I was done? I’m just getting started, baby.”
Since her viral interview with Tim & Dee TV earlier this summer, Welch has gained widespread attention. Her video, which humorously described an unconventional bedroom technique, catapulted her into the limelight. The 21-year-old from Belfast, Tennessee, has since amassed over two million Instagram followers, performed onstage with Zach Bryan, and launched the charitable initiative Paws Across America.
Welch is managed by The Penthouse, led by founder Jonnie Forster. In a recent interview, Forster discussed his team’s vision for Welch, noting that they had turned down several opportunities, including American Idol and movie roles, to focus on a podcast and potential reality TV series. “People are eager to connect with her on a deeper level,” Forster explained. “We’re exploring several ideas for unscripted TV shows and look forward to bringing them to fruition.”
With Talk Tuah, Welch aims to further engage her growing audience, offering a unique blend of entertainment and personal connection through her new podcast platform.
